We are currently hiring for a Network Security Engineer to join our client's team in the banking sector on an exciting project!
Must Have Skills
- 3-5 years of experience with Prisma Access SASE
- 5-10 years of Network Engineering experience - Routing/Switching/PBR/NAT changes Routing/BGP/Cisco/Nat’s PBR
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR Automation for Palo Alto products.
Nice to haves:
- Large Enterprise, preferably banking.
- Palo Alto Certifications: PCNSA, PCNSE
- ServiceNow SNOW
- Azure & Pipeline Azure/DevOps to implement infra as code
- Awareness of PCI and OSFI Standards
Other Responsibilities
- Network & Security Engineer who can design, implement and operate network security
- Participate in product strategy and planning
- Provide technical leadership within a collaborative team
Qualifications:
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Prisma Cloud service.
- Strong network knowledge
- Hold a PCNSA or PCNSE certification or equivalent in experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Candidate must be passionate about innovation and enjoy leading change.
Other:
- Knowledge of URL Filtering, SSL Decryption, Wildfire, Threat Prevention, DNS Security, Global Protect, HIPs Policies
- The Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of security infrastructure systems and equipment. (Strong Network Background Routing/PBR/NAT changes)
- Is a technical expert on Prisma Strata products (**Prisma Access 3-5 Years , Palo Alto NGFW, CDL, XOAR) providing in-depth knowledge of network security for a large-scale financial organization. (Important Qualifications)
- Experienced with XOAR Automation for Palo Alto products.
- Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing
- Knowledge of networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS
- Palo Alto Command line experience
- Knowledge of URL Filtering, SSL Decryption, Wildfire, Threat Prevention, DNS Security, Global Protect, HIPs Policies
- Provides support for other engineers on Palo Alto equipment/software.
- Pro-actively reviews and maintains client infrastructure.
- Experienced in integrating a Global Protect with MAC OS and Windows OS
- Has excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and act as a team player.
- Prioritize workload to adhere to timelines and manage projects.
- Must be ready to work flexible hours and need to adjust to changing environments.
- Awareness of PCI and OSFI Standards.
- Must have adept customer-service skills.
- This role requires to be on call and after hours work
