Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with analysts to create innovative data presentations.
- Design custom dashboards and reusable visualization templates.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop user-centered visualizations.
- Work with data engineers to ensure accurate data representation.
- Use SQL to query and merge data from various sources.
- Create prototypes to confirm design meets business needs.
- Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
- Present insights to leadership and manage report delivery.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document progress.
- Promote best practices in data visualization design.
- Provide training and documentation for end-users.
- Conduct user testing and iterate on visualizations based on feedback.
- Identify improvement opportunities for analytics and visualization practices.
- Stay updated on trends in data visualization.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in data visualization or analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in dashboard design, particularly with Tableau and Power BI.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify key trends.
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies independently.
- Excellent design skills and knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- SQL experience; Python or R is a plus.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is an asset.
