We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to assist with back-office systems for a leading Canadian retail client. This position requires collaboration with the main cloud architect to manage large-scale projects, offering technical guidance across agile teams and enterprise initiatives. The perfect candidate will have strong skills in architecture, design, and development to create robust Azure solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work alongside the lead cloud architect to maintain architectural consistency across various agile teams and projects.
· Develop and design Azure cloud solutions to meet enterprise requirements, including scalable infrastructure and data integration.
· Convert functional and technical requirements into practical designs, architectural diagrams, and specifications.
· Assist development teams in implementing solutions, ensuring they align with business goals.
· Design and deploy Azure services, focusing on Data Factory, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Container Apps.
· Collaborate closely with system architects and business teams to identify and meet data and functional needs.
· Offer high-level technical oversight while providing in-depth technical expertise to support development efforts.
Key Qualifications:
· Extensive experience in Azure cloud architecture, design, and development.
· Specialized knowledge in Azure components, including:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Functions
- Azure Container Apps
- Logic Apps
· Skilled in C# with the ability to guide its use in Azure solutions.
· Thorough understanding of enterprise system architecture and data integration.
· Demonstrated ability to create detailed design documentation for development teams.
· Knowledgeable about agile development processes and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Experience with retail systems and business processes is a plus.
· Strong consulting skills, effective at both strategic and technical levels.
