We are currently looking for a superstar Qualys Engineer to join our client's team! You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the security of the organization's IT infrastructure by leveraging Qualys' suite of security and compliance solutions. This involves ongoing vulnerability assessments, compliance management, and proactive measures to mitigate potential security risks.
Must Haves:
- Intermediate to expert experience with designing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Experience working on a large-scale vulnerability management engagement.
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge with Qualys deployments, including scanner deployment and configuration, Cloud Agent, passive sensors, scan configuration, and reporting.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of network design, traffic flows/routing and an ability to troubleshoot basic network related issues.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks.
Nice to Haves:
- Scripting experience; Python, Java, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience with Firewalls; Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint
- Cloud experience; Azure, AWS
